How long have you worked at Rockend?
If there is such a thing, can you describe a typical day in the job. What skills do you use on a daily basis?
Effective communication skills, being friendly, showing empathy, being flexible with the different personalities of clients and attention to detail.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
That every day is a new day and learning new things with each day that passes.
What challenges do you face in your daily role?
Dealing with stressed clients and doing your best to assist them and put them at ease.
How have you found the transition from Property Management to working in the Customer Experience Customer Support team at PropertyTree and Rockend?
It has been fantastic. Having Property Management knowledge has helped me understand the client’s perspective and the concept behind their queries.
Describe the culture and your team at Rockend?
There is so much support around me and my team is always approachable. We definitely work as a ‘Team’ not a separate product team i.e REST & PropertyTree. Everyone is very friendly and even though it hasn’t been very long, I have already made great friendships. Whilst we work hard to attend to all our clients in a timely manner, we are still able to have fun along the way.
What advice would you give someone who is currently working in Property Management and considering joining PropertyTree and Rockend?
Good work life balance, and you get your weekends back. Every day is a new day. Even if you still want to be involved with the Industry, it’s not a complete change of career – I'm able to assist clients by putting myself in their shoes.
What excites you about the future of your role at Rockend?
That I can grow more and more not only in my current Product learning but getting the opportunity to learn other Products that Rockend offers.
