My Firm, Busselton First National Real Estate, have been a client of Rockend since their acquisition of RETAS in 1999. We upgraded to REST last year, and our staff has accepted the program with enthusiasm after a pretty steep learning curve. We have found the system easy to use after the pretty intensive Rockend training introduction and with the recent upgrades it has become even easier to use and administer.
We have nothing but praise for the competent Rockend staff members that man their Helpdesk for they all show great knowledge of their product and nothing is too much trouble to them to attend to your problem or fix an error. “Usually the error is operator initiated and definitely no fault of the program”.

The changeover was completed with a great deal of support. Any new staff we have taken on have found it easy to pick up even if they haven't used REST before. Natalie, our trust account administrator has been able to keep our accounts in tip top shape due to the ease in which the system operates. In December 1999 I commenced a Strata Management business from home. During 2003/2004 the business expanded rapidly to a size where it was necessary for me to seek better strata software so that I could improve efficiencies and productivity. I was aware of the development of Strata Master by Rockend.
From my first training on the new software to the every day use of the program I cannot praise the content and enhancements enough, not to mention the increase in productivity. A good example of this is where the bank reconciliations now only takes 3 hours with Strata Master.
As an accountant, I am extremely impressed with the quality and scope of the reporting system. Executive committees can now receive a large variety of reports which assist them in managing the finances of their plans. There is no longer a need for me to prepare reports in Microsoft excel, they are all available out of Strata Master.
The Rockend staff are extremely professional in their approach to clients and their assistance with queries is efficient and they always go out of their way to assist.
I was unable to attend the Rockend training sessions and it was therefore necessary to undertake the training at my office. Long and late hours were required but this was never an issue for Rockend and I found the training simply superb.
